 Pain when bending or sneezing
Good day!

My spine has never been very stable and back pain is almost normal for me. However for the last 10 days the pain has become almost unbearable: when bending the upper part of the body (for example over a table) and also when sneezing I get a pain which is like a ring shape going from the thoracic spine under the shoulder blades round to the front over the ribs. This pain gets worse day by day although I put a warm Lava cushion on it every evening. In the evening even breathing deeply is a problem! I cannot think what could have caused it. However after having my present orthopaedic surgeon “attacking” my back pain with physical therapy, tablets and capsules , I am hoping to get another tip from you about another method of treatment.
Kind regards.

Dear Mr or Mrs L
If possible a magnetic resonance scan should be carried out, to rule out a slipped disc. Complaints in the area of the thoracic spine caused by blockages of the thoracic vertebrae can often be successfully treated by use of chirotherapy.
