My daughter has problems with her knee My daughter is 10 years old and has repeatedly had pains in her left knee over the last six months. The orthopaedic surgeon we consulted explained to us that the knee cap is too high and the tendons too short due to growth. He has excused her from school sport for the whole year and told her to rest. Is this the only therapy for this diagnosis?
