Pain specialists and patients. A Step Ahead Through Experience and Specialization
We work closely with other pain specialists in order to reach our therapy goals. We organize pain conferences,
workshops and symposia where we can share and compare our knowledge. Each patient experiences pain in his or her
own unique way; and each pain specialist has a unique set of clinical experiences. This makes it important for us
to hear about new strategies or discuss new problems with other specialists. We make use of all our contacts for our
patients, many of whom come from around the world. And we are connected to our partners around the world with all
forms of modern communication.
Wherever new therapies are being developed - in the USA, Israel or Spain - we are there, collecting and evaluating
the latest information from the experts and integrating it into our practice. Our patients profit from this commitment
to innovation.
Service is Our Strength
The patient is our number one priority. Our patients receive one-on-one consultation and treatment, backed-up by our
highly qualified practice staff. The friendly ambient of our practice clinic also helps foster our patients' sense of
well-being despite their pain. Our commitment to service already begins with the first call and continues well after
the actual pain treatment. Whether by telephone or e-mail, our clinic team stays in close touch with our patients.
We regularly conduct scientific studies on the newest pain management procedures, for example in cooperation with the
Orthopedic Clinic of the Technical University in Munich. This not only assures quality control; it also leads to intensive
contact with our patients well after completion of therapy. This continued questioning and monitoring makes early recognition
and response to changes in a patient's condition possible. And, last but not least: we not only attend to the needs of our
patients in the practice; we can help by making accommodations here in Munich as well as with organizing individual appointments.
We Begin Where Others Have Left Off
Our practice opened its doors in October 1999 to patients whose pain had not responded to previous treatment, as well as to those
whose chronic pain did not require in-patient treatment. We offer a customized operating room with image intensifying technology
and a state-of-the-art intensive care unit with patient monitoring systems.
Our interdisciplinary, person-oriented pain management concept begins where other therapies end.
One of the biggest problems between patients and their doctors is the fact that pain often becomes chronic. As specialists in
this field we are ready to take on this challenge. Our practice staff therefore cooperates with anesthesiologists, neurologists,
radiologists, psychologists and physical therapists.
